Beschreibung | Robert J. Sternberg (* 8. Dezember 1949) ist ein US-amerikanischer Psychologe und Psychometriker. Er ist Professor für Human Development an der Cornell University. Sternberg besitzt einen Bachelor-Abschluss von der Yale University und einen PhD von der Stanford University, unter der Betreuung von Gordon Bower. Er hält dreizehn Ehrendoktorwürden von zwei nordamerikanischen, einer südamerikanischen, einer asiatischen und neun europäischen Universitäten und innehat zusätzlich eine Gastprofessur an der Universität Heidelberg in Deutschland. Er ist ein Distinguished Associate des Psychometrics Centre an der University of Cambridge. |
So, for example, if a child is labeled as having a learning disability, it has very concrete consequences for the kinds of services and potentially accommodations that child will get.
