Marsha Forchuk Skrypuch (/ˈskrɪpɪk/ SCRIP-ik; born 1954) is a Ukrainian-Canadian children's writer who currently lives in Brantford, Ontario. She received a BA in English and a Master of Library Science from the University of Western Ontario, and began writing fiction in 1992. Her first book, Silver Threads, was published in 1996. Marsha Skrypuch is the author of many books for children and young adults, primarily focused on novels about Armenian immigrants. She is also the author of the Making Bombs for Hitler trilogy which consists of Making Bombs for Hitler, The War Below, and Stolen Girl.
Philip Edward Hartman (né Hartmann; September 24, 1948 – May 28, 1998) was a Canadian-American actor, comedian, screenwriter and graphic designer. Hartman was born in Brantford, Ontario, Canada, and his family moved to the United States when he was 10 years old. After graduating from California State University, Northridge with a degree in graphic arts, he designed album covers for bands including Poco and America. In 1975, he joined the comedy group The Groundlings, where he helped Paul Reubens develop his character Pee-wee Herman. Hartman co-wrote the film Pee-wee's Big Adventure and made recurring appearances as Captain Carl on Reubens' show Pee-wee's Playhouse.
Tanya Hunks (born August 24, 1980) is a former competitive swimmer from Canada. Hunks won bronze medals in the 10-kilometre open water swimming events at the 2006 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships and 2007 Pan American Games. She swam in the 400-metre and 800-metre freestyle events, in addition to the 400-metre individual medley at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.
Adam Henrique (born February 6, 1990) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre for the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected 82nd overall at the 2008 NHL Entry Draft by the New Jersey Devils.

Gregg Smith (born November 29, 1956) is a former Canadian sprint canoer who competed in the late 1970s. He won a silver medal in the C-2 500 m event at the 1977 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships in Sofia. Smith also finished seventh in the C-2 500 m event at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Keith Jones (born November 8, 1968) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He was formerly a hockey studio analyst for NBC/NBCSN. Now he works as the lead color commentator for Philadelphia Flyers games on NBC Sports Philadelphia, and the lead "Inside-the-Glass" reporter on TNT. In 491 NHL games, Jones produced a total of 258 points between 1992 and 2000.
Paul Gregory MacKinnon (born November 6, 1958) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman. MacKinnon was born in Brantford, Ontario. Selected by the Washington Capitals in the 1978 NHL Entry Draft, MacKinnon signed to play with the Winnipeg Jets of the World Hockey Association. The Capitals reclaimed MacKinnon back prior to the 1979–80 season, where he played until the end of the 1983–84 NHL season.
Mike Filer (born May 6, 1990) is a former Canadian football offensive lineman. He played CIS football with the Mount Allison Mounties from 2008 to 2011.
