Rudolf Hundstorfer (September 19, 1951 – August 20, 2019) was an Austrian social democratic politician who served as president of the Austrian Trade Union Federation (ÖGB). Hundstorfer was from December 2008 to January 2016 the Federal Minister for Labour, Social Affairs and Consumer Protection. Since 1966 Hundstorfer worked as civil servant for the City of Vienna (Magistrat). He graduated from the Bundesgymnasium for professionals in 1976 (Matura). The following year he graduated as an administration official (Beamtenaufstiegsprüfung).
