Robert Orben (geboren am 4. März 1927) ist ein amerikanischer Comedy-Autor, der auch als Zauberkünstler tätig war. Er hat mehrere Bücher über Comedy geschrieben, zumeist Sammlungen von Gags und "Einzeilern", die ursprünglich für seinen Newsletter Orben's Current Comedy geschrieben wurden, und er hat auch Bücher für Zauberer verfasst. Später wechselte Orben in die Politik, und 1973 wurde er Chef-Redenschreiber von Vizepräsident Gerald R. Ford.
