Beschreibung | Ousmane Sonko (born 15 July 1974) is a Senegalese politician. He is a former chief tax inspector in Senegal, and a tax justice advocate. Sonko was the youngest candidate to run in the 2019 presidential election in Senegal when he challenged the incumbent president, Macky Sall. He is the author of three books. Sonko is seen by many as a rising opposition leader in Senegalese politics to Macky Sall. |
