Sie ist Weltmeisterin 1993 und Olympiasiegerin 1994 im Dameneinzel. Baiul ist die erste und einzige Eiskunstläuferin der Ukraine, die bei den Olympischen Winterspielen Gold gewonnen hat. Sie ist auch die erste Olympiasiegerin der unabhängigen Ukraine in einer Sportart. |

Olympic Gold changed me and my life dramatically. I became a celebrity overnight and people see me as a famous skater, not a real person.
