Marc Lowell Andreessen (/ænˈdriːsən/ ann-DREE-sən; geboren am 9. Juli 1971) ist ein amerikanischer Unternehmer, Investor und Software-Ingenieur. Er ist Mitautor von Mosaic, dem ersten weit verbreiteten Webbrowser, Mitbegründer von Netscape und Mitbegründer und Gesellschafter der Silicon Valley Venture Capital Firma Andreessen Horowitz. Er war Mitbegründer des Softwareunternehmens Opsware, das er später an Hewlett-Packard verkaufte. Andreessen ist auch Mitbegründer von Ning, einem Unternehmen, das eine Plattform für Social-Networking-Websites bietet. Er ist Mitglied des Verwaltungsrats von Meta Platforms. Andreessen war einer von sechs Mitgliedern der World Wide Web Hall of Fame, die auf der ersten internationalen Konferenz über das World Wide Web im Jahr 1994 bekannt gegeben wurde.
