Louis Farrakhan (/ˈfɑːrəkɑːn/; geboren am 11. Mai 1933 als Louis Eugene Walcott) ist ein US-amerikanischer religiöser Führer, schwarzer Rassist, Anti-Weiß-Verschwörungstheoretiker und ehemaliger Sänger, der die Nation of Islam (NOI) leitet. Bevor er sich der NOI anschloss, war er ein Calypso-Sänger, der den Künstlernamen Calypso Gene verwendete. Zu Beginn seiner Karriere diente er als Geistlicher in Moscheen in Boston und Harlem und wurde vom ehemaligen NOI-Führer Elijah Muhammad zum nationalen Repräsentanten der Nation of Islam ernannt. Er nahm den Namen Louis X an, bevor er sich Louis Farrakhan nannte.
