Beschreibung | Linwood Pendleton (* 20. Juli 1964) ist ein US-amerikanischer Umweltökonom. Er ist Executive Director des Ocean Knowledge Action Network und war zuvor Senior Vice-President for Science beim Centre for the 4th Industrial Revolution. Zuvor war er Global Oceans Lead Scientist beim World Wildlife Fund (WWF). Seit Oktober 2014 bekleidet Pendleton die Position des International Chair in Marine Ecosystem Services am Laboratoire d’Excellence und European Institute for Marine Studies (IUEM – University of Western Brittany). Er ist zudem Senior Fellow am Duke’s Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions (NIEPS) und Adjunct Associate Professor am Duke University Marine Laboratory, einem Teil von NIEPS. Er war zuvor Director of Ocean and Coastal Policy für das Nicholas Institute (2009-2013) und Gründer der Marine Ecosystem Services Partnership. Pendleton war von 2011 bis 2011 Acting Chief Economist für die National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). |
