David I. Adelman

David Isaac Adelman (born May 24, 1964) is an American lawyer, businessman and diplomat.. He was the United States Ambassador to the Republic of Singapore from 2010 to 2013. Adelman is Managing Director and General Counsel of asset manager Krane Funds Advisors in New York. He was a Managing Director of Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong. He is an Independent Non-Executive Director of Noble Group Holdings, and a former senior advisor to indexing firm BlueStar Indexes. He is an Advisor to private equity firms Olympus Capital and Ion Pacific. He is a member of the Advisory Board of Climate Finance Partners. Adelman is a Trustee of the think tank the National Committee on American Foreign Policy and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
