Beschreibung | Cristina Bassani Teixeira (born June 25, 1958 in Rio de Janeiro) is a former international breaststroke swimmer from Brazil, who competed at two consecutive Summer Olympics for her native country, starting in 1972. She was at the 1971 Pan American Games, in Cali, where she finished 5th in the 100-metre breaststroke, and 7th in the 200-metre breaststroke. At the 1972 Summer Olympics, in Munich, she swam the 100-metre and 200-metre breaststroke, not reaching the finals. At the 1976 Summer Olympics, in Montreal, she swam the 100-metre and 200-metre breaststroke, not reaching the finals. |
