Rick Stein

Christopher Richard "Rick" Stein, CBE (born 4 January 1947) is an English celebrity chef, restaurateur, writer and television presenter. Along with business partner (and first wife) Jill Stein, he has run the Stein hotel and restaurant business in the UK. The business has a number of renowned restaurants, shops and hotels in Padstow along with other restaurants in Marlborough, Winchester and Barnes. He is also the head chef and a co-owner of "Rick Stein at Bannisters" at Mollymook and Port Stephens in Australia, with his second wife, Sarah. He has written cookery books and presented television programmes.

Joshua Toulmin

Joshua Toulmin (11 May [O.S. 30 April] 1740 – 23 July 1815) of Taunton, England was a noted theologian and a serial Dissenting minister of Presbyterian (1761–1764), Baptist (1765–1803), and then Unitarian (1804–1815) congregations. Toulmin's sympathy for both the American (1775–1783) and French (1787–1799) revolutions led the Englishman to be associated with the United States and gained the prolific historian the reputation of a religious radical.

George Anson, 1st Baron Anson

Admiral of the Fleet George Anson, 1st Baron Anson, PC, FRS (23 April 1697 – 6 June 1762) was a Royal Navy officer. Anson served as a junior officer during the War of the Spanish Succession and then saw active service against Spain at the Battle of Cape Passaro during the War of the Quadruple Alliance. He then undertook a circumnavigation of the globe during the War of Jenkins' Ear. Anson commanded the fleet that defeated the French Admiral de la Jonquière at the First Battle of Cape Finisterre during the War of the Austrian Succession.

Paul Widdowson

Paul Stuart Widdowson (born 27 March 1974) is an English cricketer. Widdowson is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm medium pace. He was born at Leicester, Leicestershire. Widdowson represented the Leicestershire Cricket Board in a single List A match against the Durham Cricket Board in the 2000 NatWest Trophy. In his only List A match he scored 11 runs and with the ball he took a single wicket at a cost of 12 runs. He currently plays club cricket for in the Leicestershire Premier Cricket League.

Kevin Emery

Kevin St John Dennis Emery (born 28 February 1960, Swindon, Wiltshire) is a retired English first-class cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm fast-medium. Emery played his entire first-class career for Hampshire, making his debut in May 1982 against Leicestershire and his one-day debut a few days later against Kent County Cricket Club. He also joined Warwickshire CCC in 1986 but a back injury restricted his appearances to the Second X1. After his First Class career ended he represented Wiltshire in Minor Counties cricket and played club cricket for Swindon CC, Lansdown CC (Bath), Optimists CC ( Bristol ), Calmore CC and Dumbleton CC. He also represented a Western League Select X1 and still plays out matches for the MCC.

Richard Pybus

Richard Alexander Pybus (born 5 July 1964 in Newcastle upon Tyne), is an English-born cricket coach. He coached the Pakistan and Bangladesh national teams, and currently serves as the Director of Cricket for the West Indies Cricket Board. He has held this post since October 2013. In 2017 he applied for Head coach of Indian cricket team. He was awarded the South African Cricket Coach of the year in 2008–09 and 2010–11 by Cricket South Africa.

Sarah Solemani

Sarah Solemani (born 4 September 1982) is an English actress, writer and activist, best known for starring in the BAFTA winning sitcom Him & Her, playing Renee Zellweger's best friend 'Miranda' in Working Title's Bridget Jones's Baby, for which she was nominated for an Evening Standard Best Actress Award. David Linsay Willetts, Baron Willetts, PC, FRS, HonFRSC, FAcSS (born 9 March 1956) is a British politician and life peer. From 1992 to 2015, he was the Member of Parliament (MP) representing the constituency of Havant in Hampshire. Sean Fitzgerald

Sean Martin Fitzgerald (born 21 August 1962) is a former English List A cricketer. Fitzgerald was a right-handed batsman who primarily played as a wicketkeeper. A technically brilliant batter and wicket keeper, he would also prove to be a very able off spinner in the latter stages of his club career. He was also king of the sesh in his Washy days, mixing with some of the best MC’s Fitzgerald also played a single List A cricket match for Dorset in the first round of the 1990 NatWest Trophy against Glamorgan. He scored two runs and made two stumpings in the match.

Neil Shardlow

Tristan Neil Shardlow (born 1 June 1970) is a former English cricketer. Shardlow was a left-handed batsman who played primarily as a wicketkeeper. He was born in Bristol. Shardlow made his Minor Counties Championship debut for Wiltshire in 1989 against Shropshire. From 1989 to 2006, he represented the county in 57 Minor Counties Championship matches, the last of which came against Herefordshire. Shardlow also represented Wiltshire in the MCCA Knockout Trophy. His debut in that competition came against Cornwall in 1990. From 1990 to 2006, he represented the county in 21 Trophy matches, the last of which came against Norfolk. During his Minor Counties career with Wiltshire, the presence of fellow wicketkeeper Stephen Perrin kept him out of the Wiltshire side for large periods.

Peter Gutwein

Michael Wasley

Michael Wasley (born 23 February 1990) is an English former professional snooker player. Wasley turned professional in 2012 after qualifying via Event 3 of Q School and gained a two-year tour card for the 2012–13 and 2013–14 snooker seasons. Hasib Hussain

Hasib Mir Hussain (Urdu: حسیب میر حسین; 16 September 1986 – 7 July 2005) was one of four Al Qaeda suicide bombers who detonated bombs on three trains on the London Underground and one bus in central London during the 7 July 2005 London bombings. Hussain detonated a bomb on the No. 30 bus that exploded in Tavistock Square, killing 13 of the 52 people killed in the suicide bombings, and himself. Investigators found his body and personal effects on the bus. At the age of 18, he was the youngest of the group of four. The other men were Shehzad Tanweer, Germaine Lindsay, and Mohammad Sidique Khan.

Dave Gardner (basketball)

Dave Gardner (born 1 February 1964) is a retired British basketball player, most famous for his stints at Chester Jets and Manchester Giants of the British Basketball League. Gardner also played 59 games for England. In honour of Gardner's services to his 'hometown' club, the Chester Jets retired his number 11 jersey in 2002.

Richard Jonathon Hall (born 27 September 1978) is an English cricketer. Hall is a left-handed batsman who bowls slow left-arm orthodox. He was born at Worcester, Worcestershire. Hall made his debut for Herefordshire in the 1998 Minor Counties Championship against Devon. From 1998 to 2009, he represented the county in 22 Championship matches, the last of which came against Cheshire. His MCCA Knockout Trophy debut for the county came against the Worcestershire Cricket Board in 1998. From 1998 to present, he has represented the county in 18 Trophy matches. It was for Herefordshire that he made his only List A appearance, which came against Worcestershire in the 2004 Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy. In this match he made an unbeaten half century score of 54* and took a single catch in the field.

Matthew Higginbottom (born 20 October 1990) is an English cricketer. Higginbottom is a left-handed batsman who bowls right-arm medium-fast. He was born at Stockport, Greater Manchester. Higginbottom was educated at New Mills School Business & Enterprise College, before studying Sport and Business Management at Leeds Metropolitan University. Abigail Eaton (born 2 January 1992) is a British racing driver from the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. She starred as the test driver for the second and third series of The Grand Tour, an Amazon Prime Video-exclusive motoring series. Dave Thompson (comedian)

Dave Thompson (born 30 June 1959) is an English actor, stand-up comedian and writer, who made headlines in July 1997 after being removed from the role of Tinky Winky in the children's television series, Teletubbies after 70 episodes. The BBC said in a letter to Thompson that his "interpretation of the role was not acceptable". Thompson recounted bursting into tears upon learning the news of his termination. In interviews, he supposed that the dubbing of his voice, unlike the other actors, was an indication of dissatisfaction over his performance.

Edward Hawke, 1st Baron Hawke

Edward Hawke, 1st Baron Hawke, KB, PC (21 February 1705 – 17 October 1781), of Scarthingwell Hall in the parish of Towton, near Tadcaster, Yorkshire, was a Royal Navy officer. As captain of the third-rate HMS Berwick, he took part in the Battle of Toulon in February 1744 during the War of the Austrian Succession. He also captured six ships of a French squadron in the Bay of Biscay in the Second Battle of Cape Finisterre in October 1747.
