Der aus Massachusetts stammende Leary wurde zunächst als Stand-up-Comedian bekannt, insbesondere durch Auftritte bei MTV (u. a. mit dem komödiantischen Song "Asshole") und durch die Stand-up-Specials No Cure for Cancer (1993) und Lock 'n Load (1997). Ab den 1990er Jahren begann Leary, Rollen in Film und Fernsehen zu übernehmen, darunter wesentliche Rollen in den Filmen Judgment Night (1993), Gunmen (1994), Operation Dumbo Drop (1995) und Wag the Dog (1996). |
