Víctor Valdés Arribas (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈbiktoɾ βalˈdes aˈriβas]; born 14 January 1982) is a Spanish football coach and former professional player, who played as a goalkeeper. Valdés was considered fiercely competitive and demanding, demonstrating great mental strength and concentration to be alert during long spells of ball domination, and was superb at one-on-ones.
