Beschreibung | William A. Feather (25. August 1889 - 7. Januar 1981) war ein amerikanischer Verleger und Schriftsteller mit Sitz in Cleveland, Ohio. Feather wurde in Jamestown, New York, geboren und zog 1903 mit seiner Familie nach Cleveland. Nachdem er 1910 seinen Abschluss an der Western Reserve University gemacht hatte, begann er als Reporter für die Cleveland Press zu arbeiten. Im Jahr 1916 gründete er das William Feather Magazine. Er schrieb nicht nur für dieses Magazin und gab es heraus, sondern schrieb auch für andere Zeitschriften wie H. L. Menckens The American Mercury, betrieb eine erfolgreiche Druckerei und schrieb mehrere Bücher. |
