Er ist James Clarke Chace Professor für Außenpolitik und Geisteswissenschaften am Bard College und lehrte zuvor die amerikanische Außenpolitik an der Yale University. Zudem war er Herausgeber bei der Zeitschrift The American Interest. Mead schreibt regelmäßig Kolumnen für das Wall Street Journal, ist Scholar am Hudson Institute und Rezensent für Bücher bei Foreign Affairs, dem vierteljährlichen Fachmagazin für Außenpolitik, herausgegeben vom Council on Foreign Relations. |
