Dame Vivienne Isabel Westwood, DBE, (* 8. April 1941 als Vivienne Isabel Swire in Tintwistle, Derbyshire) ist eine englische Modedesignerin. Sie wurde bekannt mit der Erfindung der Punk-Mode Mitte der 1970er-Jahre. Heute sind ihre Entwürfe geprägt von neu und exzentrisch zusammengesetzten Kombinationen aus historischer Bekleidung, seltenem Textilgewebe und farbenfrohen Webmustern. Von 1989 bis 2005 nahm sie Lehraufträge für Modedesign an der Universität für angewandte Kunst Wien und an der Universität der Künste Berlin wahr. Vivienne Westwood engagiert sich in vielen Initiativen im Bereich von Menschenrechten, Abrüstung und Umweltschutz.
