Stephen Yates (born 29 January 1970) is an English football coach and former professional footballer. As a player who played as a defender, who notably played in the Premier League for Queens Park Rangers, as well as in the English Football League for Bristol Rovers, Tranmere Rovers, Sheffield United, Huddersfield Town and Morecambe. He also played non-league football for Scarborough and Halifax Town before retiring with Welsh Premier League club Caernarfon Town.
