Beschreibung | Stephen Douglas Sabol (* 2. Oktober 1942; † 18. September 2012) war ein US-amerikanischer Filmemacher. Er war Präsident und einer der Gründer von NFL Films, zusammen mit seinem Vater Ed. Zudem war er auch als ausstellender visueller Künstler tätig. Sabol verfasste das Gedicht "The Autumn Wind", das später von den Oakland Raiders als inoffizielle Hymne übernommen wurde. |
My Dad hated his job. He sold overcoats, but he wanted to make movies. He had a failed career working with the Ritz Brothers - they were like the Marx Brothers, only a tier below. I always had a picture in my mind of him in a straw hat.
