Beschreibung | Robert Randolph "Randy" Neugebauer (born December 24, 1949) is an American politician who was the U.S. representative for Texas's 19th congressional district, having served from a special election in 2003 to 2017. He is a member of the Republican Party. The district includes a large swath of West Texas, including Lubbock and Abilene. According to a 2011 survey by the National Journal, Neugebauer was "the most conservative" member of the House. On September 17, 2015, Neugebauer announced he would not seek reelection to an eighth term in 2016. |

Mr. Speaker, I rise today in support of the definition of a marriage as between one man and one woman.
Thousands of years and many civilizations have defined a marriage as the union between one man and one woman. With few exceptions, those civilizations that did not follow that perished.
