Beschreibung | Philip S. Orsino, OC (* 21. Juni 1954) ist ein kanadischer Unternehmer. Er war ehemals Präsident und Chief Executive Officer der Masonite International Corporation. Er wurde in Toronto, Ontario, geboren und erwarb 1976 einen Bachelor of Arts Degree vom Victoria College der University of Toronto. Er wurde 1979 Chartered Accountant und später Partner in der Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft Hilborn, Ellis, Grant, Chartered Accountants. 1997 wurde er zum Fellow des Institute of Chartered Accountants ernannt. 1983 gründete er Century Wood Door Limited mit und wurde 1984 Präsident und CEO. 1989 fusionierte Century Wood Door Limited mit seinem größten Konkurrenten, Premdor. Im Jahr 2001 erwarb es Masonite Corporation von International Paper und änderte 2002 den Namen in Masonite International Corporation. Masonite International wurde im Dezember 2004 für 3,1 Milliarden CAD von Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. übernommen. Er ist Mitglied des Verwaltungsrats der Bank of Montreal und Mitglied des Prüfungsausschusses sowie des Conduct Review Committee. |
