He produced a career tally of two medals (one silver and one bronze) at the 1999 and 2003 Pan American Games, and was selected to compete for Argentina in two editions of the Olympic Games (2000 and 2004). Having started shooting at the age of ten, Alvarez also serves as a full-time member of General Jose de San Martin Shooting Club in his native Chivilcoy, under his personal coach Ruben Giannone. |
