Nancy Sarah Goroff (born February 18, 1968) is an American organic chemist who is the chair of the chemistry department at Stony Brook University. Her research includes investigating conjugated organic molecules, including polymers, halocarbons and buckybelts. In 2020, Goroff was the Democratic nominee to represent New York's 1st congressional district, losing the election to the incumbent, Lee Zeldin.
