He won the mayoralty race in his first attempt in the 2004 Philippine general elections, and has helped Cainta to become a first-class municipality during his tenure. He was once the overall spokesperson for United Nationalist Alliance, for the party itself and for former Vice President Jejomar Binay's 2016 presidential campaign. |
