Beschreibung | James „Midge“ Ure, OBE ist ein schottischer Rockmusik-Gitarrist und Singer-Songwriter. Seine größten Erfolge feierte er als Sänger der New-Wave-Band Ultravox und als Solokünstler in den Jahren 1980 bis 1985. Zusammen mit Bob Geldof gründete er 1984 das Hilfsprojekt Band Aid und organisierte die Benefizkonzerte Live Aid und Live 8.
