Beschreibung | Mick Hubert (born February 16, 1954) is the radio play-by-play announcer for several Florida Gators athletic teams at the University of Florida (UF). Hubert is only the third "Voice of the Gators" - Otis Boggs held the position for over 40 years, and David Steele left in 1989 to become the TV voice of the expansion Orlando Magic of the National Basketball Association. Since then, Hubert has been the lead radio announcer for Florida's football and men's basketball teams and most baseball games. He also serves as the host for several coaches' radio and television shows and hosts and produces various other television, radio, and online content for UF's athletic department. On football broadcasts, he works with color analyst and former Gator player and coach Lee McGriff. For basketball games, |
