Michele Marie Bachmann [ˈbɑkmən] (geb. Amble, * 6. April 1956 in Waterloo, Iowa) ist eine US-amerikanische Politikerin der Republikanischen Partei. Von 2007 bis 2015 gehörte sie für den 6. Kongresswahlbezirk Minnesotas dem Repräsentantenhaus der Vereinigten Staaten an. Bei der Präsidentschaftswahl 2012 bewarb sie sich in der Vorwahl ihrer Partei. Sie wird zum äußersten rechten Flügel ihrer Partei gezählt und steht der Tea-Party-Bewegung nahe.

My husband and I raised five kids. We've raised 23 foster children. We've applied ourselves to education reform. We started a charter school for at-risk kids.
