Beschreibung | Michael Padilla (born June 13, 1972 in Albuquerque, New Mexico) is an American politician and a Democratic member of the New Mexico Senate representing District 14 since January 15, 2013. Padilla was the Senate Majority Whip from his second year in office until being stripped of the position by his Senate colleagues due to resurfaced sexual harassment allegations against him. He briefly ran for lieutenant governor after withdrawing under pressure due to the same allegations. |
