Beschreibung | Johannes Tauler war ein deutscher Theologe, Mystiker und vor allem in Straßburg, Basel und Köln wirkender Prediger. Er war Dominikaner und zählte in seinem Orden zur neuplatonischen Strömung. Mit Meister Eckhart und Heinrich Seuse gehört er zu den bekanntesten Vertretern der spätmittelalterlichen deutschsprachigen Dominikaner-Spiritualität. |
