James Ronald Ryun (geboren am 29. April 1947) ist ein US-amerikanischer ehemaliger republikanischer Politiker und olympischer Leichtathlet, der in seiner Blütezeit als der beste Mittelstreckenläufer der Welt galt. Er gewann bei den Olympischen Sommerspielen 1968 eine Silbermedaille über 1500 m und war der erste High-School-Athlet, der die Meile in unter vier Minuten lief.
