Beschreibung | Jeffrey Allen Ament (geboren am 10. März 1963) ist ein US-amerikanischer Musiker und Songwriter, der vor allem als Bassist der amerikanischen Rockband Pearl Jam bekannt ist, die er gemeinsam mit Stone Gossard, Mike McCready und Eddie Vedder gegründet hat. Vor seiner Arbeit mit Pearl Jam war Ament Mitglied der Grunge-Rock-Bands Green River und Mother Love Bone aus Seattle in den 1980er Jahren. Er ist besonders dafür bekannt, dass er Fretless-Bass, Kontrabass und zwölfsaitige Bassgitarren spielt. Ament ist außerdem Mitglied der Bands Temple of the Dog, Three Fish, RNDM, Tres Mts und P.E.S.T. |
With Pearl Jam, everybody is so good at what they do, it's hard to get up the courage to say, Can I sing this part, or, I want to play guitar. I feel like I have more courage to do that.
It's great that people are basically spending their two weeks of vacation to come out and be with us in some weird part of the world. And I think we owe it to them to take 'em to some cool places.
