Jan Slaughter Jones (born January 28, 1958) is an American politician who is a state representative in the U.S. state of Georgia. She has served in the Georgia House of Representatives since January 13, 2003. Her constituents include some of the northern Atlanta suburbs in Georgia's 47th district including parts of Milton and parts of Roswell and Alpharetta. She is a Republican and is currently the majority Speaker Pro Tempore—a position she has held since 2010.
