Beschreibung | Heath Andrew Ledger (4. April 1979 - 22. Januar 2008) war ein australischer Schauspieler und Musikvideo-Regisseur. Nachdem er in den 1990er Jahren Rollen in mehreren australischen Fernseh- und Filmproduktionen gespielt hatte, zog Ledger 1998 in die Vereinigten Staaten, um seine Filmkarriere weiter auszubauen. Er drehte zwanzig Filme, darunter 10 Things I Hate About You (1999), The Patriot (2000), A Knight's Tale (2001), Monster's Ball (2001), Lords of Dogtown (2005), Brokeback Mountain (2005), Candy (2006), I'm Not There (2007), The Dark Knight (2008) und The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus (2009), wobei die beiden letztgenannten Filme posthum veröffentlicht wurden. Er produzierte und inszenierte auch Musikvideos und strebte an, Filmregisseur zu werden. |
