He first served as Iraq's ambassador to Japan in 2004. He has four children, Anas, Youssra, Mariam and Omar. Al-Jumaily holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Mexico, an M.S. in Optics from the University of Arizona, and a B.S. in Physics from the University of Baghdad. During the course of his career he came to hold two patents in the field of optics. |
