Beschreibung | Johnnie B. "Dusty" Baker Jr. (* 15. Juni 1949) ist ein US-amerikanischer Baseballmanager und ehemaliger Spieler, der derzeit Manager der Houston Astros in der Major League Baseball (MLB) ist. Er spielte zuvor 19 Saisons in der MLB, vor allem bei den Los Angeles Dodgers. Während seiner Zeit bei den Dodgers war er zweimal All-Star, gewann zwei Silver Slugger Awards und einen Gold Glove Award und wurde als erster NLCS MVP ausgezeichnet, was ihm während der National League Championship Series 1977 verliehen wurde. Er nahm außerdem dreimal an der World Series teil und gewann diese einmal im Jahr 1981. |
