Beschreibung | Dmitriy Petrukhin (born 25 July 1956, in Sovrudnik worker's settlement, North-Yenisey district, Krasnoyarsk Krai, in USSR) is a Soviet and Kazakhstani biker-traveler, public figure. Between 2004 and 2014, he rode his BMW K1200LT motorcycle through 150 countries of the world, covering more than 250,000 km (160,000 mi). He is a founder of the biker movement in Kazakhstan and the president of the public association "Bike.kz". Since 2010, he is the president of the Central Asian Geographical Society (CAGS) The head of the Terra Vita marine round-the-world expedition on the Chokan Valikhanov yacht (09.25.2007, Aktau – 06.07.2012 Aktau). Since 2007 - Member of the Maslihat of Almaty from the "Nur-Otan" Party. |
