Beschreibung | David Steven Viscott (* 24. Mai 1938; † 10. Oktober 1996) war ein US-amerikanischer Psychiater, Autor, Unternehmer und Medienpersönlichkeit. Er studierte an der Dartmouth (1959), der Tufts Medical School und lehrte am University Hospital in Boston. 1968 eröffnete er eine private psychiatrische Praxis und zog später 1979 nach Los Angeles, wo er Professor für Psychiatrie an der UCLA war. Er gründete und leitete das Viscott Center for Natural Therapy in Beverly Hills, Newport Beach und Pasadena, Kalifornien. |
