Daniel O'Brien (born January 6, 1986), also known as "DOB", is an American humorist, author, writer, comedian and songwriter; formerly for Cracked.com. Since August 2018, O'Brien works as a staff writer on the HBO show Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. In 2019, 2020, and 2021 he was part of the writing team that won three Emmy Awards for Outstanding Writing on a Variety Series.
