Christine J. Johnson currently serves as Treasurer for DeKalb County, Illinois. She was first elected to the office in 1994 and has served the County for nearly 25 years. Johnson is also a former Republican member of the Illinois Senate, representing the 35th legislative district in Boone, DeKalb, Ogle, LaSalle and Winnebago counties from 2011 to 2013. Johnson was most recently re-elected to her 7th term as Treasurer in 2018.
