Seine Liberaldemokraten blieben innerhalb der britischen Parteienlandschaft die drittgrößte Partei. Kennedy trat am 7. Januar 2006 zurück, nachdem er unter Druck geraten war, weil er sich öffentlich zu seinen Alkoholproblemen bekannt hatte. |
