Beschreibung | Chandrima Shaha (* 14. Oktober 1952) ist eine indische Biologin und derzeit Präsidentin der Indian National Science Academy (2020–22) sowie JC Bose Distinguished Chair Professor der National Academy of Sciences am Indian Institute of Chemical Biology in Kalkutta. Sie war ehemals Direktorin und Professorin von Eminence am National Institute of Immunology. Von 2016 bis 2018 war sie Vizepräsidentin (International) der Indian National Science Academy. Shaha ist Mitglied der World Academy of Sciences, der Indian National Science Academy, der Indian Academy of Sciences, der National Academy of Sciences sowie der West Bengal Academy of Science and Technology. |
