He played college basketball for Iowa State University after stints with USC and UNLV, and played professionally for the New Orleans Pelicans of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Dejean-Jones was fatally shot after breaking into an apartment, having wrongly believed it to be that of his girlfriend. |
