Februar [O.S. 31. Januar] 1881 - 23. Januar 1931), war eine russische Primaballerina des späten 19. und frühen 20. Jahrhunderts. Sie war Solistin des kaiserlich-russischen Balletts und der Ballets Russes von Sergej Diaghilew. Pawlowa ist vor allem für ihre Erschaffung der Rolle des Sterbenden Schwans bekannt. Mit ihrer eigenen Kompanie war sie die erste Ballerina, die um die Welt tourte und unter anderem in Südamerika, Indien und Australien auftrat. |
