He had a 10-year professional career from 2007 to 2017 that included two brief stints in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He last played for Hapoel Eilat of the Israeli Premier League before returning to his alma mater as an interim assistant coach for the University of Wisconsin-Madison men's basketball team, a position he held until April 2021. Tucker gained notoriety after media reports indicated that he had tried to take over as head coach at Wisconsin by creating turmoil in the program and leveraging his position on an athletic director search committee in an attempt to force out head coach Greg Gard, though he has denied the reports. |
