Beschreibung | Abraham Mulamoottil ist ein katholischer Priester, Autor, Pädagoge, Innovator und Philosoph der aufstrebenden Welt. Er erlangte seinen Doktortitel an der Katholischen Universität Löwen, Belgien. Mulamoottil gründete die Mar Athanasios College for Advanced Studies, Tiruvalla (MACFAST) und wurde deren Principal. Er führte dort als Erster in Kerala einzigartige postgraduale Studiengänge wie MSc Bioinformatics, MSc Plant Biotechnology, MSc Food Science & Technology und MSc ein. Mulamoottil war zudem als Chairman und Chief Executive der Pushpagiri Group of Medical Institutions, Tiruvalla, tätig. Sein Wirken war maßgeblich bei der Errichtung der St. John’s Cathedral, Tiruvalla, beeinflussend. Er gründete das erste Campus-Community-Radio in Kerala, RADIO MACFAST 90.4 FM. Er initiierte außerdem das erste und größte Solarenergieprojekt in Kerala. Er ist zudem der Hauptorganisator des Centre for Innovation and Development of Affordable Technologies (CIDAT), das als Startup-Plattform und Innovationsressourcen-Hub etabliert ist. |
