Beschreibung | Thomas von Aquin, OP (/əˈkwaɪnəs/; italienisch: Tommaso d'Aquino, lit.Thomas von Aquino'; 1225 - 7. März 1274) war ein italienischer Dominikanermönch und Priester, der ein einflussreicher Philosoph, Theologe und Jurist in der Tradition der Scholastik war; er ist in dieser Tradition als Doctor Angelicus, Doctor Communis und Doctor Universalis bekannt.
