Beschreibung | Lido Anthony "Lee" Iacocca (/ˌaɪ.əˈkoʊkə/ EYE-ə-KOH-kə; 15. Oktober 1924 - 2. Juli 2019) war ein US-amerikanischer Automobilmanager, der vor allem für die Entwicklung des Ford Mustang, des Continental Mark III und des Ford Pinto bekannt war, als er in den 1960er Jahren für die Ford Motor Company tätig war, sowie für die Wiederbelebung der Chrysler Corporation als deren CEO in den 1980er Jahren. Von 1978 an war er Präsident und CEO von Chrysler und von 1979 bis zu seiner Pensionierung Ende 1992 Vorsitzender. Er war eine der wenigen Führungskräfte, die zwei der drei großen Automobilhersteller leiteten. |
