Beschreibung | Kanchana Wijesekera (born 27 April 1982) is a Sri Lankan politician who is a member of parliament for Matara District. He is the son of former Cabinet Minister Mahinda Wijesekara. His primary education was at Trinity College, Kandy where he was a student till the end of grade 6 and represented the school in Athletics, Swimming and Rugby. He was then educated at Royal College, Colombo where he completed the GCE O/L examination and represented the school in Cricket at under 15's and under 17. He sat for his A/L examinations at Asian International School in Colombo and represented the school in Cricket and Rugby at the senior level. Further studies were done at Monash University in Melbourne where he followed a Degree in Economics. |
