Beschreibung | Douglas A. Girod (born May 5, 1958) is an American educator, medical doctor, and the current University of Kansas chancellor. Most recently, he was the University of Kansas Medical Center's executive vice chancellor, a position he held from February 2013 until July 2017. Prior to serving as the Executive Vice Chancellor at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Girod primarily served as a surgeon in the University of Kansas Hospital since 1994 and is a veteran of the United States Navy Reserve. |
