David Lucas (politician)

David Eugene Lucas (born April 23, 1950) is an American politician. He is a member of the Georgia State Senate from the 26th District, serving since 2012. He is a member of the Democratic party. Lucas also served in the Georgia House of Representatives from 1975 to 2011. He is the father of gridiron football player Al Lucas who died during a game while playing for the Los Angeles Avengers.
